How much is in a truckload?

The stacking of bales is called a dump. A dump consists of 68 bales of 3 string, 95-120lb bales.  Our trucks can carry 8 dumps, so that is a total of 544 bales of hay. Since this is a large amount to unload by hand, we use a squeeze to unload the hay.  When you order a half a load, that means you are ordering 4 dumps, totaling to 272 bales.
